#126 Lizzie Lasater - Overcoming restorative yoga misconceptions
Lizzie Lasater teaches creativity, functional movement, somatic strength, and Restorative Yoga.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in Art History from UCLA and a Master’s in Design from Columbia University in New York City.
Lizzie jokes that she has been practicing since the womb because her mother, Judith Hanson Lasater, has taught yoga since 1971. Honoring her lineage while embracing contemporary movement science, Lizzie shares the powerful insights of yoga across the web, refining the practice to better serve women’s bodies and to teach people, not just poses. @lizzie.lasater
“What is an advanced yoga pose? Maybe it’s sitting and having one breath of presence.”
